Tropical Villas is a St Lucian property management and real
estate company, located in the exclusive Cap Estate in the north of the island
and specialising in luxury villa rental vacations and sales. Established
over thirty years ago as an arm of Cap Estate Developments, the now independent
company has added to its portfolio scores of new villa rental properties and a
real estate service.
Tropical Villas offers a full range of property agent services
including holiday villa rentals,
long-term rentals,
property management for north-based homes and island-wide property sales.
The Tropical Villas Team
Caribbean-born and UK-educated Bridget
McNamara is thoroughly acquainted with the property sales and
rental market. She began her career with Cap Estate Developments in the 1970s
and a few years later started Tropical Villas. In the twenty years since
then the company has enjoyed a healthy and steady growth, establishing a strong
reputation and expanding its geographical area to cover most of the
island. The company has extended its services in rentals and marketing and
recently added a sales arm. In 2005, Tropical Villas entered a new phase when
Karen DuBoulay Hunte bought into ownership of the business. This development has
allowed Tropical Villas to further expand and consolidate its expertise in the
market.
Karen DuBoulay-Hunte & Bridgette McNamara
Part owner Karen DuBoulay-Hunte has been with
Tropical Villas since 2002. She earned a Masters Degree in International
Hotel Management from the University of Surrey in Guilford and returning to St
Lucia in 1997. Karen worked at an all-inclusive resort hotel for
five years, first in operations and then later in sales and marketing before
joining the Tropical Villas team. In 2005 she assumed equal
partnership with Bridget McNamara and now primarily oversees the short term
rentals aspect of the business.
Faye Joseph
Faye Joseph brings international experience
and a keen eye for quality to the team. She lived and worked in Los
Angeles where she was a talent and recruiting agent and in Florida where she
became a licensed real estate professional. A St Lucian national, she
returned to the island in 2005 and began work with Tropical Villas as a sales
agent and manager of long-term property rental.
Margueritte Martin
Margueritte Martin is the Tropical Villas’
team Guest Relations Officer. Born in St Lucia and educated in the UK,
Margueritte worked as a registered nurse in the UK before returning to the
island and joining the tourism industry. Margueritte is available
throughout guests’ stay, making arrangements from car hire to sightseeing
tours. Her work brings her into to contact with many people, from taxi
drivers to wedding planners, making her an indispensable link for TVL clients.
Natasha Marcellin
Natasha Marcellin is an office administrator
and supports the team in the day to day running of Tropical Villas.
Born in St Lucia, she completed her studies at the Sir Arthur Lewis
Community College at Morne Fortune, and has been with TVL for several
years. Natasha assists in the TVL team with all aspects of operations.
Helen Didier
UK-born Helen Didier first came to St Lucia
with Pegasus Holidays, fell in love with the island and decided
to stay. She worked with several established local companies in marketing
and advertising before joining Tropical Villas. Helen is key in office
administration and provides support in several departments as tour rep, villa
inspector and assistant for long term rental management. |
